December 26, 2025A Model of Innovation and Strategic Growth
Aligned with International Standards
24 December 2025
Positioned within the financial ecosystem for nearly three decades, Stewards Investment Capital has established itself today as a transnational player that combines local expertise, international reach, and a strong capacity for innovation. For the firm, 2025 represented a decisive milestone, marked both by the consolidation of its activities and by its increased entry into the U.S. market. Through its initiatives, the company continues to strengthen its positioning while adapting its operating models to a financial environment shaped by increasingly sophisticated investors and the rapid evolution of regulatory standards.
Throughout its 27-year journey, Stewards Investment Capital has built a reputation for delivering distinctive, niche investment solutions that respond to the evolving needs of both high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors. Its strategic presence in Mauritius, South Africa, and the United States enables it to articulate a strategy based on direct market access, deep regional insight, and the identification of opportunities typically accessible only to players with a global network.
Suneeta Motala, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Stewards Investment Capital:
"Our vision has always been to build a reputation based on distinctive investment solutions tailored to the evolving needs of investors. Our strategically located offices give us an undeniable advantage in identifying and capturing unique opportunities, whether in real estate, private credit, Shariah-compliant solutions, or impact investing.”
As part of its continued evolution, our U.S. affiliate, Stewards Inc. is currently progressing towards a Nasdaq listing, positioning us within one of the world’s most dynamic financial markets. “This step enables us to capitalise on a range of unique partnerships that broaden our access to high-quality deal flow and institutional networks,” highlight Suneeta Motala. Through Stewards Inc., we are able to extend to our investors the advantages of a robust U.S. ecosystem, ranging from technology-enabled small business finance, income-producing real estate, and emerging digital infrastructure - ensuring our clients benefit directly from insights, networks and capabilities that are often out of reach for investors in this part of the world.
Mauritius plays a central role in our strategy. Being based here has allowed us to build strong relationships with major pension funds and institutional investors across Africa, and to structure and launch award-winning investment products such as the Stewards Private Credit Fund, which connects global capital to the fast-growing U.S. private credit market. By incorporating private credit into traditional fixed-income portfolios, investors benefit from enhanced risk-adjusted returns with no mark-to-market volatility. “This balanced approach provides predictable income and greater certainty in cash flow and liability management which are vital for long-term institutional stability,” explains the Deputy CEO.
Internal culture lies at the heart of the group’s continued growth. Built on the « RISE » values (Resilience, Innovation, Stewardship, Excellence), it is structured around trust-based relationships, forward-looking innovation and long-lasting partnerships. At the heart of how we work internally, our values guide us and keep us aligned. Our philosophy is anchored in trust-based relationships and forward-looking innovation. We build deep long-lasting partnership while developing niche investment solutions to ensure investors’ long-term success. “What makes Stewards different is how we blend local knowledge and expertise with international reach. We build portfolios that can withstand different market cycles and deliver sustainable long-term results,” she emphasizes. This philosophy is reflected both in client relationships and in strategic decision-making, where on-the-ground teams identify opportunities best aligned with objectives of higher yields, better diversification, reduced risk.

International Recognitions
The year 2025 also marks a decisive turning point, symbolized by the international unification of the Stewards brand.
Our U.S. affiliate, FAVO Capital, has officially transitioned to Stewards Inc. This transition marks a defining step in unifying the Stewards brand worldwide, strengthening its global footprint, and reinforcing its long-standing values of transparency, discipline and responsible growth. Headquartered in Florida with operations in New York and Dominican Republic, Stewards Inc. is a publicly traded private credit and capital allocation platform that combines high‑velocity SMB (Small and Medium Businesses) revenue‑based financing with selective real assets and AI‑driven decisioning.
Another key development is that our Private Credit Fund is now featured on Bloomberg and Morningstar, two of the world’s leading financial data and analytics platforms. This inclusion validates the fund's adherence to the highest global standards, providing increased visibility to institutional investors, wealth managers and sophisticated individual investors.
These developments are further complemented by the distinctions received at the Euromoney Private Banking Awards 2025, where Stewards Investment Capital was named Africa’s Best for Alternative Investments and Mauritius’s Best for Alternative Investments. This recognition highlights Stewards Investment Capital's firm commitment to delivering niche and impactful investment solutions. “The awards highlight the firm's strategic expertise in providing alternative investment opportunities that not only maximize returns but also create substantial value for investors across the African continent and globally,” highlights Suneeta Motala.
The range of investment solutions also expanded significantly in 2025, in response to growing demand for alternative investments. Private credit has become one of the sustainable trends in the market. Suneeta Motala notes that Stewards Investment Capital entered the private credit segment in June 2023 - almost two years before these diversification strategies were highlighted by major institutions. “Since then, Stewards’ investors have already benefitted from this early exposure, reinforcing the firm’s ability to anticipate and act on global investment trends. Our Private Credit Fund for example offers attractive fixed-income opportunities, capital protection and greater liquidity,” she explains. The firm also provides structured solutions, real estate bridge financing, and a growing range of Shariah-compliant products. Among the new offerings, an attractive solution linked to luxury real estate projects in Florida - developed by Armani and Riva Yachts - has generated strong interest, thanks to the exclusive access provided to investors through the teams based in the United States.
In a global financial environment marked by regulatory complexity and rapid technological acceleration, Stewards relies on a culture of responsible agility to maintain its high standards of governance, transparency, and compliance. “Compliance is deeply embedded in our day-to-day operations. We encourage open communication, proactive risk management, and a strong AML/CFT culture at all levels,” notes Suneeta Motala. This collaborative and compliance-driven approach enable us to uphold governance standards and regulatory obligations without compromising operational agility. The company also invests in innovation, continuous learning, and the optimization of its internal processes, in pursuit of continuous improvement.
Interview with Bilal Adam, Chief Executive Officer of Stewards Investment Capital
“Our Stewards Private Credit Fund Reached USD 207 Million In October”
Following a year marked by strong performance, the continued scaling of private credit, and increased international visibility, the CEO of Stewards Investment Capital, Bilal Adam, outlines a trajectory firmly focused on sustained growth. He sets out the ambition to strengthen Stewards Investment Capital’s presence in the U.S. and African markets, while continuing to develop new, high value-added investment solutions.
1. How do you assess the company’s performance in 2025? Which indicators or achievements do you consider the most significant?
We’ve had several important developments this year, both operationally and strategically, and each one has really helped strengthen our global presence and investment capabilities.
We’ve also seen major momentum on the U.S. real estate side. Stewards Inc. completed the $190 million all-stock and assumption-of-liabilities acquisition of 1818 Park, a premier Class-A mixed-use property in downtown Hollywood, Florida. It’s a significant step in broadening their strategy, integrating stabilized, income-producing real estate alongside their expanding private credit business.
As Stewards Inc. moves closer to its Nasdaq listing, this creates substantial strategic opportunities - strengthening their position in the U.S. and expanding the range of investment prospects we can bring to clients here in Mauritius and Africa. Moreover, our Stewards Private Credit Fund is now featured on Bloomberg and Morningstar, increasing our visibility among global institutional investors. Together, these developments strengthen our international footprint and expand the opportunities we can offer investors.
It is also important to highlight that our Stewards Private Credit Fund, which began at USD 30 million in February 2025, has already grown to USD 207 million as of October 2025. That momentum speaks to both the strong market demand and the value of the early positioning we took in this space.
2. What is your medium-term ambition for Stewards Investment Capital? Which development areas or key projects do you intend to prioritise?
When we look at the medium term, our ambition is really to strengthen our position as a leading investment manager, focused on innovation and service while continuing to expand our global footprint. One of our key strategic priorities is to capitalise on the upcoming Nasdaq listing of Stewards Inc. We expect this milestone to significantly enhance our international visibility, broaden our access to capital, and open new channels for cross-border investment flows between the U.S. and Mauritius. It’s a major platform that will accelerate our growth trajectory in a very meaningful way.
We’re also focused on expanding and diversifying our investment product suite. Private credit remains a central pillar for us because we continue to see strong demand from institutional and sophisticated investors who are seeking stable, uncorrelated returns. At the same time, we’re deepening our capabilities in Sharia-compliant investment solutions. There’s a growing appetite for ethical and faith-based finance across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, and we see a real opportunity to build tailored offerings that meet those needs.
As Stewards Inc. moves closer to its Nasdaq listing, this milestone will meaningfully broaden our reach into global capital markets and serve as a powerful catalyst for our long-term growth and international ambitions.
Collectively, these strategic moves will enable Stewards to scale sustainably, serve a broader investor base, and reinforce our commitment to delivering transparent, high-impact, and resilient alternative investment opportunities.
3. Given that the MIFC must continue to persevere to face competition from other established and emerging financial centres, how is Stewards Investment Capital adapting and positioning itself within this competitive landscape?
It’s true that the MIFC operates in a highly competitive global landscape, and we’re very conscious of that. For us, one of the core pillars of our strategy has been our ability to act as a bridge between Africa and global markets. In many ways, this aligns naturally with Mauritius’ long-standing strengths as a trusted and well-regulated international financial hub.
Mauritius’ strategic positioning enables us to facilitate efficient capital flows in both directions, providing African investors access to developed markets while allowing global investors to participate in Africa’s high-growth opportunities. Leveraging this advantage, and supported by expert teams across Mauritius, the USA, and South Africa, we have built a suite of exclusive investment solutions tailored specifically to the needs of these cross-border investors.
Of course, as global competition intensifies, we know we need to stay ahead. That’s why we continue to invest in innovation, diversify our product offering, and strengthen governance. Mauritius remains central to this ambition, serving as the secure and reliable gateway through which we connect capital, opportunities, and expertise.
Bilal Adam, Chief Executive Officer of Stewards Investment Capital:
"Our ambition is really to strengthen our position as a leading investment manager, focused on innovation and service while continuing to expand our global footprint. One of our key strategic priorities is to capitalise on the upcoming Nasdaq listing of Stewards Inc. We expect this milestone to significantly enhance our international visibility, broaden our access to capital, and open new channels for cross-border investment flows between the U.S. and Mauritius.
